A soft lead flat end or cone bottom on a steel tool. The impression block can give ideas on what it is set down upon. Usually run via slickline and set down once to get an imprint. Also derisively called a confusion block.
All impression block have standard pin up API Reg connections. The connection will be dependent on the mill OD.
